Alex actually takes the time to do the job right, which I appreciate. From the first day Alex has been professional and reliable. He treats my yard with care even down to the edging around the fences. The yard looks great with stripes going both ways, and an even uniform cut. Alex takes pride in his work, which seems hard to find these days.

Process
How we do it
- 1.
Sign up before the season
We lock in customer routes before Thanksgiving. Sign up earlier and we can guarantee a slot; later in the season we may have to put you on a waitlist if our route is full.
- 2.
Watch the forecast
When the National Weather Service calls for 2 inches or more, we pre-stage. As soon as it stops accumulating, we start the route.
- 3.
Drive, walk, salt
Driveway gets plowed (or pushed for smaller drives), walks get blown or shoveled, and salt goes down on hard surfaces if you opted in.
- 4.
We're done before you leave
We start at 4 a.m. for major events to make sure customers can get out for work. Smaller events get hit during the day.
Seasonal timing
When this service runs
Service runs from the first 2″ event (usually late November or December) through the last meaningful snow (typically March). Seasonal contract pricing: pay one flat fee that covers every event in the season.

Snow Removal: common questions
What does seasonal pricing cover?
Every snow event of 2 inches or more, no per-event billing. If we have a low-snow winter you may feel you overpaid; if we have a brutal one you'll feel you got a steal. Over a few years it averages out and you never have to think about it.
What if it snows less than 2 inches?
Most light dustings clear themselves with foot/tire traffic. If we get a borderline event we'll come anyway. We'd rather over-serve than have you slip on the walk.
Can I add salt or just plowing?
Either. Salt/ice melt is a per-event add-on. Most customers add it for the front walk and porch but not the driveway.
How early can I sign up for next winter?
August. Earlier is better, since every year we have to turn customers away in December because the route is full.
